Each Sharky Baitfeeder III live liner fishing reels have 10 + 1 shielded stainless steel ball bearings, precision alloy gears with a 5.1:1/5.5:1 gear ratio and a stainless steel mainshaft.
It is a unique bait runner style fishing reel with classic front and rear drag functions. Approved for freshwater and saltwater fishing.
The Sharky Baitfeeder spinning reels have carbon fiber drag washers for up to 26.5 Lbs/ 12 Kg of the smoothest fishing reel carbon drag on the fishing tackle market.
It features a CNC aluminum Shark Fin Braid Ready Spool, high modulus corrosion-free graphite body, and computer balanced rotor.
It has a black and red color scheme, and are equipped with interchangeable right or left hand handle with sure grip T-handle for great spinning reel performance.

Sharky 3 bought 2 last year for halibut in surf
Sharky 3 bought 2 last year for halibut in surf was using 5" swimbait and got into a school of 4' lepord sharks the reel was amazing. One issue i had after four in the surf reel started getting real hard to reel line in took apart and cleaned the reel and a little grease now it works good hooked two more lepords and handeled them well . Saltwater is tuff on any reel .looking at buying a couple more different kastking spinning reels for surf.
Handles Business
We use it to free line live bait out of the back of the boat. We catch Mahi and everything in between on it and it handles it all!!

Bought this reel for a trip to the Texas coast to fish for Reds, and big uglies. Loved the idea of the separate bait feeder drag system. After putting it to use I can say it has exceeded my expectations. It handled itself well against some larger, strong big uglies. I’m very impressed.
Shark and eel catch on the sharky baitfeeder lll
Reel works great for saltwater fishing. Very smooth and strong. I was able to catch a shark and a eel with it and it healed up perfectly.
Bait feeder/clicker is great
I used this recently on a day out with a buddy and our young boys. Tossed a sucker out on a bobber with the rear drag as loose as possible and the feeder engaged while we helped the boys fish for panfish. Didn’t need to watch the bobber really since we could hear when the fish was on and someone would grab the pole and start reeling. It was fun, and I imagine using this reel to dead stick would be great too

Sharky III Baitfeeder
This is by far the best dual drag/Baitfeeder type reel you can get for the money. I now own 7 of these along with 2 of the original Sharky Baitfeeder reels bought in 2017. I also own 7 of the Pontus Baitfeeder reels for my ice rods because I wanted smaller sizes for those. These reels are all solid and smooth. The only thing I do is add hot sauce reel grease for fishing in extreme cold. Many years ago I bought some high price Penns and Shimanos but now I use mostly Kastking because you get comparable quality for a much more reasonable price.

Great reel for the price
Been striper fishing These reels have been really good. Have reeled in over a 100 striper. Most are around 27” or less. Bout 5-8#. But have reeled in a cpl 20# fish with them. Have held up great. The arm from the rod could be a bit thicker and stiffer. But other then that it’s been great
First time Striper surf fishing with my
First Striper surf fishing day of the season at Island Beach State Park, New Jersey. Testing out my new Sharks Baitfeeder 111 series 6000 reel attached to a new Moonsniper Mo-S1202 surf rod . Been a Penn surf rod and rod fan for the past 20 years . Just wanted a change and lower cost and rod weight and Found both on Amazon and love the information and great reviews with great seasonal discounts to swing the deal even more . The rod and reel handle my only catch of the day . Nice size heavy Striper pull from heavy surf which was released back to the ocean after the pictures. The reel drag was easy to readjust with the fish on . I did not get back to the beach though the holiday and winter set in . So far I like the combo I put together. I was not happy with line I had installed and have changed it out for the up coming blue fish season in March . I also pickup Rekon bait casting 30 series reel for the bay for the up coming season too . We’ll write a review at later in June.
Amazing reel you have to buy one
This reel is amazing. It offers a lot of cool specs for such a low price. The bait feeder feature is amazing and compared to other brands with the same features this one is offers the same quality for a fraction of the price.
I like these reels a lot though I can’t wait to order some more . I used for catfishing.

For a 5000 real it's pretty light. Got the bait feeder version because I'm going after carp and catfish. Wanted to use it for some light shore fishing so got the bigger size.
