Good reel have used them now for 2 yrs
Good reel have used them now for 2 yrs. But know the cranking handle handles are falling off. It seems they are just glued on . Now looking for replacements. Iv had 2 do this now.

I used the 40 and 50 out in the Dry Tortuga !
I used the 40 and 50 out in the Dry Tortuga ! Landed some nice Mangrove snappers, Almaco Jacks (40), Yellowtail snappers and Lane snappers, a 19inch red grouper and some red snappers( safely released). . All used in 100 to 200ft of water.

First Baitcaster, I watched the bentrod videos on this reel. Pretty easy to learn. Can’t wait to start using it for Musky fishing and Salomon on Lake Michigan!!! Looks really cool in black, size 60.

Rover Reels
I recently purchased two Rover 80’s to use for flathead fishing. The KastKing Rover reels are smooth and rock solid. I have two of the 60 models and have put them through a lot of abuse without any issues!

I am an avid saltwater fisherman, on the Texas Gulfcoast, and have used four models of the Rover Round reels. Initially, I felt that the drags were a little weak, but they have since made upgrades to the drags, and these are my "go to" reels now. I catch big fish, and am very impressed with their performance. I routinely outcast friends with much more expensive reels.
Fantastic river reel
I have only been largely lake and pond fishing most of my life and after getting a river rod with no reel on sale at a bait shop I looked into reels. This one seemed the best for my purposes and after using it and learning more about river baitcasters, it's a super sturdy reel that can cast like an absolute beast. Very happy with the purchase. The Kast King is the middle rod.
Perfect For Lead Core Trolling
Perfect for lead core line trolling Stripers , salmon etc. The 60 size is 13 ounce light weight for my uncle he preferred a left handle . It can spool up to 5 colors of Suffix 36lb lead core maybe more from 12-27 lb lead core line. I mostly target Stripers in 15-25 feet depth trolling along the banks at inland lakes New Hogan and Fore Bay Oneil reservoir this cast reel is excellent for it , although I haven’t use it just got it on 1/31/25 . I like it a lot getting a right handle 60r myself and highly recommend it 100% !Update: 1st week of February 2025 . Caught 3 Stripers at Forbay Oneil reservoir. The Kastking Rover 60 size is excellent bait cast reel. It goes very well with 7 feet medium heavy rods it should last a lifetime got both in left and right handle great nice reel for under $60 !
