Smooth, satisfying drag and reliable asf
Smooth, satisfying drag and reliable as any other reel you can find on the market. I have caught overslot redfish, sheepshead, and 35”+ black drum using this reel and 15lb test. Very fun and highly recommend this reel if you want something good without spending a bunch of money to get it. Just keep her oiled up like you should with all your equipment.
Best of the bunch
I’ve tried many of the bentrod spinning reels and this the only model I have found to hold up to all conditions. Drag is a little rough feeling yet works on everything from cobia to West Coast lingcod.
Nice reel
For the money I was impressed with the smoothness of the crank. The bail is a little stiff but hopefully will loosen up once used some. Very happy with it and brass gears are a plus! I’m 60 so have had many reels thru the years. This is as good as ones I’ve paid $150-200 for. Look at the pic and you will see I’ve got a variety of reels but only use St. Croix or Fenwick rods.
Not bad so far
I have ordered this reel a little after Christmas in michigan so I haven't fished with it yet. But this reels seems to be very smooth and a god drag system.
