Kapstan Saltwater Spinning Rod
Powerful S-Curve Graphite Blanks
Built for demanding saltwater fishing applications, KastKing Kapstan rods feature 100% graphite blanks with S-Curve construction and Nano-Resin technology for exceptional strength, lifting power, and lightweight responsiveness. The 2-piece PTS (Power Transition System) design delivers smooth power transfer and easy transport.
Heavy-Duty Saltwater Guides
Reinforced stainless steel double-foot guides provide superior durability under heavy loads, while ultra-smooth Zirconium Oxide rings reduce friction and improve performance with braided and heavy saltwater lines.
Boat & Surf Specific Reel Seats
Boat rods feature corrosion-resistant aluminum reel seats for maximum strength and stability when fighting large fish. Surf models use lightweight graphite reel seats for reduced weight and improved casting distance.
Slip-Resistant Grip
Ergonomic handles provide lasting comfort and confident control during long fishing sessions. Durable rubber cross-wrap grips improve traction in wet conditions, while the spiral foregrip with finger grooves enhances leverage when fighting large fish. Split-grip boat rod handles improve maneuverability, while full-length surf rod grips maximize casting power and control.
Versatile Saltwater Rod Series
Available in 7 models from 6'6" to 12', including boat and surf fishing rods designed for inshore, offshore, pier, and shoreline applications. Oversized hook keeper securely stores larger hooks and rigs during travel and storage.

Great Rod
Caught a lot of fish with this rod.
Kapstan
Very good rod and reel like the rest of there products Kapstan rid same blank as the Kong so you know it’s gonna be a good rod I have switched all my other rods reels to Kastking
Redfish Slayer
Perigee rod 6.5’ and 7’ both are super lightweight for fast heavy rods. I use 20lb braid and live shrimp paired with Kapstan Elite. Ultimate setup for redfish.
I purchased this rod and reel as a gift. It has not been fished yet so no feedback there yet but it does appear to be well made. I am very tempted to order another set for myself. Can’t wait to hear how it performs.
I have to say I love my new rod and spinning real. Took them both out 3 mornings ago and let me tell you! Threw my bait into the pond and within 10 minutes I got a huge strike! I reeled in the monster catfish with ease and the pole is a beast! The reel works seamlessly and I love the drag lock! I highly recommend!!
Had a great weekend, San Diego fishing. Excellent rod. I like the bright tip and how it picks up activity.. only thing I don’t like is the screw to hold down the reel. For the price, it should’ve been steel, not composite.
So far i am pretty happy with rod. The first one i recieved in the mail had a guide insert broken but after a quick email bentrod sent another free of charge. The rod feels solid for sure a good bait soaking rod whether its for catfish on a river or livebait off a boat. The handle is unique and would work well if your hands are dirty or slippery with bait. For not being the big brand name tackle it seems like kastking is a good option as far as bang for your buck. I do plan on modifying the handle to fit my needs better making it a slightly smaller diameter which is personal preference. All in all im happy with my purchase.
